Dr. Mark Jamison began working with Pearson in 2004 and currently manages a team of PD technology consultants. He works directly with customers and consultants to support change of practice among teachers and assure the success of a 1:1 technology digital conversion including implementation of Interactive Whiteboards, Student Response Systems, and 21st Century Skills. An educator of 15 years prior to his work at Pearson, Mr. Jamison received his Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Angelo State and received both Masters and Doctorate degrees in Instructional Technology in Education from Texas Tech University.

Experience

Pearson
Technology Implementation Manager (4.5 years). Manage a team full-time and part-time consultants. Work directly with Pearson customers and consultants to assure the success of technology implementations for 1:1 settings, Interactive Whiteboards, Student Response Systems, and 21st Century Skills.

Pearson
Education Technology Consultant (3.5 years). Responsible for delivering technology-based professional development to improve student learning and achievement. Assist teachers with developing technology rich lessons, provide coaching and modeling with various technologies, and participate in meetings with school administrators to promote systemic change to instructional processes.

Texas Tech University
Visiting Assistant Professor and Instructor (4 years). Taught instructional technology courses for pre-service teachers, math and science methods, middle school philosophy, and supervised student teachers in a K-12 environment. Co-authored the self-paced course manual, Computers and Technology: A Study Guide for EDIT 2318. Elected to serve as a member on the faculty council for the College of Education.
