Pearson's Literacy Leadership Team & RTI institute is designed to help schools and districts set up an effective literacy leadership team and in turn a successful RTI system. Download agenda

This two day training will bridge the gap between coaching, leadership and RTI. The institute goes beyond basic ideas of literacy coaching to help K-12 educators and administrators build capacity for implementing and sustaining positive change, while enhancing collaboration in the intervention process.

Literacy Coaches and Leaders will:

Understand the role of the literacy leadership team in an RTI model
Investigate the role of the literacy coach
Redefine literacy coaching on a continuum of professional learning
Discuss three major categories for literacy coaching
Review a solution-seeking investigative cycle
Develop a school-wide plan
Understand conditions for learning
